WriteFlow is designed with privacy as the core principle. All of your documents, text inputs, and reading histories are processed and stored locally in your browser. We do not transmit your written content to any central server.
If you choose to use advanced AI features (like Text-to-Speech syncing or Summarization) by providing your own API keys, those requests are made directly from your browser to the respective providers (e.g., Google Cloud, OpenAI). Your API keys are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never sent to WriteFlow servers.
We may collect basic, anonymized analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve the experience. This never includes the content of your writing or reading materials.
